ohio minimum wage rises to $7.70 on january 1st, 2012

All Ohio employers should take note that the current state minimum wage will increase to $7.70 per hour on 1/1/2012.

As reported by the Ohio Department of Commerce, the minimum wage for tipped employees will increase on 1/1/2012 to $3.85 plus tips, and minors under 16 should be paid no less than the Federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
